Qualifier Jason Jung has achieved his first ATP250 semi-final. He now meets veteran Andreas Seppi in what should be a very interesting encounter.

Jason Jung has shocked everyone in New York. Jung has beaten Kevin Anderson, Cameron Norrie, and Reilly Opelka, and has booked his spot in his first ATP250 semi-final. Jung has played some incredible tennis, he has showed that he is not scared to play the way he wants to and is playing with no pressure. Jung seems to be a very interesting player, and if he can keep up this form, it will be interesting to see how his 2020 season pans out. Will he be able to make his first ATP Final on Saturday?

Andreas Seppi, the Italian veteran, has found some form again. Seppi, who had a terrible 2019 season, is nearing the end of his career, but this does not mean that he cannot play his best tennis. Seppi has found his best tennis here in New York and will be aiming to get to the Final and potentially win a fourth ATP title. Seppi has the experience and this could work to his advantage, it just depends on whether he can continue his form in the more important stages of the tournament.

This will be the first meeting between both players and in my opinion, Jung has the edge in this one. Jung has already beaten much stronger and tougher players than Seppi and he does not have much pressure on him. Jung has already reached further than he ever imagined, and this will allow him to play with house money. Whilst, Seppi had reached this far, he has struggled to find consistency in his matches along the way. On the other hand, Jung has shined in all of his matches. This will prove to be deciding.

Jason Jung to win.
