Bertens is the better and more consistent player of the two, and one would think getting an extra life after nearly losing her last match should help her put together a better effort moving forward. Bertens has been too good of a player this year to keep getting bounced early in grand slams, even if that’s been her deal throughout her whole career.
Bertens makes the fourth round of Wimbledon for the first time since 2014.
