Kyle Edmund vs. Soonwoo Kwon - 2/14/2020 New York Open Tennis Pick, Odds, and Prediction
Friday, February 14, 2020 at 12:00 PM (New York)
Kyle Edmund meets Soonwoo Kwon in the quarterfinals of the 2020 New York Open.
Kyle Edmund put on a dominant display against Dominik Koepfer beating the German in straight sets 6-4/6-2. Edmund showed us some tennis we have been asking to see from him for a long time. Edmund showed so much promise a few years ago, will he be able to get back to those levels in 2020?
Soonwoo Kwon just won the biggest match of his career. Kwon beat Milos Raonic in a match where not many believed he could even take a set off the Canadian. Kwon is fast and is determined to prove a point, he does not have any pressure and is free to play however he wants. These are scary traits for his opponents because no one is expecting him to beat anyone.
This will be the first meeting between both players, but with how both players performed in their prior match, it is going to be a long one. This match will come down to the wire in my opinion, but experience will prevail. Edmund will utilize his knowledge to beat Kwon in the end.
Edmund to win.
