New York Open Champion, Kyle Edmund, meets Ugo Humbert in the first-round of the 2020 Delray Beach Open.

Kyle Edmund has won his second ATP Title! The Brit beat Andreas Seppi 7-5/6-1 to finally get some positive results and get his confidence back. Edmund struggled all through 2019 and he is finally back. Edmund will want to continue his run in the US and start out strong here in Delray Beach. Edmund, when confident, has the ability to beat anyone on a tennis court. He is tall, he has a great serve, and Edmund's forehand is incredibly strong. Let's hope that Edmund doesn't see a dip in his form as it will be great for his career if he can get more confidence and minutes on court.

Ugo Humbert has also had a great start to the 2020 season. Humbert is a strong player who is rising up the ranks and continuously playing his best game. Humbert has a lot of potential, he just needs to find the consistency needed to be able to compete week in and week out. Humbert is also one of the more motivated players amongst the young guns. Humbert is underrated and he knows that, therefore he puts in a lot of work to prove all the doubters wrong. Will Humbert be able to add another title to his cabinet this year, potentially in Delray Beach?

This will be the second meeting between both players and if this was 2/3 weeks ago, I would have said that Humbert would have won this match. However, following Edmund's performances last week, I have to back the Brit to get the job done in the first-round. Edmund is more experienced and he is more confident at the moment. Expect Edmund to continue his form and make it to the second-round.

Kyle Edmund to win.
