Cilic is coming off a match in which he dropped just five service points all together, a formula that makes anybody impossible to beat. Cilic has dropped just 13 games in his last two matches and is clearly in the zone right now with his serve, putting the ultimate pressure on his opponent. If this is the Cilic we’re going to see heading into July, he's poised to make another deep Wimbledon run. Cilic hopes to make his second final appearance of the 2017 season. Cilic has won nine of his last 11 matches on grass court.
Gilles Muller is coming off a straight sets win over Sam Querrey that took 23 games to decide. In the victory, Muller won 71 percent of his first serve points and 81 percent of his second serve points. Muller has not been broken in this tournament and is fresh off a match in which he dropped just four second serve points. Muller has found his form again after a shaky clay season and hopes to make his second final appearance of the month. Muller has to like his chances given his current form in this tournament. Muller hopes to make his fourth final appearance of the 2017 season. Muller has won seven straight matches on grass court.
These two have played once, which was in the 2016 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, a match Cilic won in straight sets. The match was decided in 26 games.
Muller has yet to lose a match on grass this season, which makes him worth a shot with the plus money. However, Cilic is the better player overall and has simply been flawless with his serve. Cilic has taken his game to another level in this tournament and is building momentum and confidence heading into the Wimbledon.
You can't bet against Cilic and his current play.
