Tennis | Kei Nishikori vs Nick Kyrgios
Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

Australian tennis superstar, Nick Kyrgios, has made it to the third round of Wimbledon. The Australian has always loved the grass courts as it suits his hard-hitting style. There are great expectations on Nick Kyrgios in Australia as he is the flag bearer of tennis for Australia and there is a belief in Australia that it is high time that he develops into a player that can win a grand slam. This is the best chance that Nick Kyrgios has to win a grand slam in this calendar year and he is doing well so far as he has made it into the third round. In the third round, he will be taking on Japanese superstar Kei Nishikori. Both players are very experienced and very talented so we should be able to watch a great contest between two to athletes.

Kei Nishikori has won both his matches in 4 sets and that is a trademark of the Japanese player as he never manages to win in straight sets. That being said, Kei Nishikori has looked very good and he will be confident that he can make it deep into this tournament. It has been a solid 2018 for the Japanese superstar as he has gotten some very good results. A deep run in Wimbledon will ensure that Nishikori can break into the top 20 ranked players in the world and he will be desperate to ensure that happens by beating Nick Kyrgios.

On the other hand, Nick Kyrgios is looking very good. The Australian is looking very powerful and his shot accuracy has been exceptional. This was very evident in the second round as Nick Kyrgios put up a dominant display to win in straight sets. The grass courts of Wimbledon ensure fast shots and with Nick Kyrgios’s power, it is hard for most players to compete. While Kei Nishikori is a very good player, I only see one result and that is a victory for Nick Kyrgios.

As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a great price wagering on Nick Kyrgios to win this match so that is the best bet we can make. I also expect this game to end after three sets so the under 3.5 sets wager is also worth looking at.
