Petra Kvitová vs Agnieszka Radwańska 2018 Connecticut Open Tennis Pick, Preview, Odds, Predictions

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Petra Kvitova will play one final tournament before the US Open. The Czech superstar is set to play in the WPT Connecticut Open. She will begin her campaign in the first round against Agnieszka Radwańska from Poland. Both players will be determined to do well as this will be the last chance they will have of getting some momentum before they begin their campaign at Flushing Meadows.

Agnieszka Radwańska is currently ranked 38 in the world but was once ranked number 2. The Polish superstar is very experienced and has done very well in the past. That being said, it has been a tough few months for Agnieszka Radwańska as she has been in terrible form and has been struggling to get any wins together. She lost in straight sets in the opening round of the Cincinnati Open and she will hope that she can do much better in this tournament. This will not be an easy match as she is playing the number 3 seed. Agnieszka Radwańska will need to be at the top of her game if she wishes to compete in this fixture.

On the other hand, Petra Kvitova had a very strong run at the WTA Cincinnati Masters as she made it to the semifinals. She would be disappointed she didn’t win the event but her deep run showed that she is in very good form. Petra Kvitova will look to continue that form in this tournament and that should mean we will see her play at 100%. This is not the most favorable tournament to play since it is very close to the US Open so many top players avoid playing this event. This should ensure Petra Kvitova has a great chance of winning a WTA event which she will look to make the most of.

I am predicting Petra Kvitova to win. She is in better form and I think she will be too good for her opponent.
