Spanish tennis legend, Rafael Nadal has made it to the fourth round of the 2019 ATP French Open in Paris. At this stage of the competition, Rafa will be playing against Juan Ignacio Londero from Argentina.

Juan Ignacio Londero had to battle for 5 sets in his previous match to eliminate Corentin Moutet. It was a closely contested match where Londero impressed with his returning. Juan Ignacio Londero won close to 40% of his receiving points which allowed him to break his opponent’ serve on 6 occasions. It is important to note that Juan Ignacio Londero had some issues with his serve but the Argentine managed to do enough to win the match. This is going to be a much tougher match for Juan Ignacio Londero as he is playing against the number 2 seed.

On the other side of the court, Rafael Nadal had was challenged during his previous match as he had to fight through 4 sets to defeat David Goffin. It was a brilliant start to the match for Nadal as he won the first two sets with ease but Goffin showed fight to defeat Nadal in the third set. Rafa showed his class in the fourth set which he won 6-3. During the win, Rafael Nadal served with great strength as the Spaniard won 75% of his service points. Nadal won 17 service games and 5 return games to win the match against David Goffin. Nadal is greatly experienced having won this title on 11 occasions. With such a record on his side, Rafa will be very confident as he enters this match.

This will be the first time that Rafael Nadal and Juan Ignacio Londero will be playing each other at an ATP event.

Juan Ignacio Londero has been very impressive throughout this tournament. That being said, I see Londero losing this match. Rafael Nadal is simply too strong for Juan Ignacio Londero. Nadal is a much stronger set of skills and the Spanish superstar seems to always play his best tennis at Roland Garros. Nadal is looking very impressive and I see him winning this match with ease.
