Andy Murray will be in action as the Scottish champion looks towards Wimbledon. He will be taking on Stan Wawrinka in the opening round of ATP Eastbourne in Nottingham. This is a match between two top tennis players so we should be excited for this fixture.
Andy Murray lost at ATP Queens in his opening round match and he will want to do better in this tournament. Murray doesn’t look like he is at 100% fitness but playing ATP tournaments will be important for him to regain full fitness. This will be another big test for Andy Murray who will be desperate to get a victory and build his confidence heading into Wimbledon.
On the other side of the coin, Stan Wawrinka will look to get a victory over Andy Murray. The Swiss superstar had a very poor French Open getting eliminated in the opening round. It will be important that Stan Wawrinka plays good tennis. If he is consistent in his shot execution, then he should win. Andy Murray is not fit and a consistent Stan Wawrinka should be way too strong.
All in all, I see Stan Wawrinka beating Andy Murray and securing his spot in the second round of this competition. Andy Murray simply hasn’t got enough fitness to win this game. As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a very good price on Wawrinka winning and as a result, the outright result market is the best option. In addition to that, I am also a fan of the over 2.5 sets. Andy Murray should be able to win a set of Stan Wawrinka meaning that this bet should win more often than it doesn’t.
