The Line: -- Over/Under:
Greek tennis player, Stefanos Tsitsipas is set to play at the 2019 ATP Cincinnati Masters. Tsitsipas will begin his campaign in the second round where he will face Jay-Lennard Struff from Germany.
Jay-Lennard Struff defeated Ivo Karlovic in the previous round of the tournament. It was a good performance by Struff as he impressed with his serving. Struff his 12 aces which aided in winning 77% of his service points and 100% of his service games. Struff also won 1 return game which is a decent result considering Karlovic is a very powerful server. Prior to arriving at Cincinnati, Jay-Lennard Struff played at the Rogers Cup where he was eliminated in the second round. Struff has lacked consistency this season. This is expected to be a tough match for Jay-Lennard Struff as he is playing against the number 5 seed.
Looking at Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Greek superstar received a bye in the opening round due to his high seeding. Tsitsipas had a poor campaign at the Rogers Cup where he lost his opening match in 3 sets. That being said, Stefanos Tsitsipas has been in outstanding form as he made the semifinals of the Citi Open. It has been an outstanding season for Stefanos Tsitsipas as he has made 4 finals and won 2 titles. This is only the second time that Stefanos Tsitsipas is playing at the Cincinnati Masters but considering his recent form, the Greek superstar will be confident in his ability to do well.
Jay-Lennard Struff and Stefanos Tsitsipas have played each other twice with both players winning on one occasion. Both matches between Tsitsipas and Struff have taken place in 2018 with Struff winning at ATP Barcelona and Tsitsipas winning at ATP Sofia.
Jay-Lennard Struff has the ability to challenge any player but the German has lacked consistency and I see him struggling in this match. Stefanos Tsitsipas looks in outstanding form and I see the Greek superstar being good enough to take advantage of Struff who has not been at his best. Stefanos Tsitsipas is the stronger player and I see him winning this match.
