LEAGUE PASS, THE U TOO
The Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky meet Sunday in WNBA action at the Wintrust Arena.
The Las Vegas Aces look for their first road victory of the season to climb out of a deep 1-4 hole. The Las Vegas Aces are averaging 78.4 points on 40.4 percent shooting and allowing 91 points on 47.2 percent shooting. A'ja Wilson is averaging 20.8 points and 8.2 rebounds while Kayla McBride is averaging 13 points and 2.3 assists. Nia Coffey is the third double-digit scorer and Tamera Young is grabbing 4.8 rebounds. The Las Vegas Aces are shooting 20.4 percent from beyond the arc and 75.2 percent from the free throw line. The Las Vegas Aces are allowing 42.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.2 rebounds per game. The Las Vegas Aces have lost 10 of their last 11 road games.
The Chicago Sky need a win in order to snap a three-game losing streak to get back to a .500 record. The Chicago Sky are averaging 77.6 points on 44.3 percent shooting and allowing 85.2 points on 42.7 percent shooting. Allie Quigley is averaging 19.3 points and three assists while Diamond DeShields is averaging 13.4 points and five rebounds. Courtney Vandersloot is the third double-digit scorer and Jamierra Faulkner is dishing four assists. The Chicago Sky are shooting 36.6 percent from beyond the arc and 81.8 percent from the free throw line. The Chicago Sky are allowing 29 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.6 rebounds per game. The Chicago Sky have lost six of their last seven home games.
The Aces are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference. The Sky are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 home games, 1-8 ATS in their last 9 Sunday games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference. The Aces are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Chicago, 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings and the over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
The Chicago Sky are banged up and not playing well during this three game skid. However, with this line, I'm going to assume that Allie Quigley and Stefanie Dolson are likely going to play. The Las Vegas Aces are coming off a victory, but they've been downright awful for the most part this season and haven't played a lick of defense, especially on the road. Don't love this game, but I'd lay the buckets with the home team as a fade from Vegas more than anything.
