The Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun meet Tuesday in WNBA action at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Indiana Fever look for another road victory after beating the New York Liberty in the last second on Friday night. The Indiana Fever are averaging 81 points on 42 percent shooting and allowing 80 points on 40 percent shooting. Tiffany Mitchell is averaging 22 points and five rebounds while Erica Wheeler is averaging 16 points and five assists. Candice Dupree is the third double-digit scorer and Teaira McCowan is grabbing six rebounds. The Indiana Fever are shooting 25 percent from beyond the arc and 71.4 percent from the free throw line. The Indiana Fever are allowing 35.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 38 rebounds per game. The Indiana Fever have split their last eight road games.

The Connecticut Sun also look for a 2-0 start to the season after smoking the Washington Mystics on Saturday. The Connecticut Sun are averaging 84 points on 43.4 percent shooting and allowing 69 points on 37.5 percent shooting. Alyssa Thomas is averaging 23 points and eight rebounds while Jasmine Thomas is averaging 13 points and six assists. Jonquel Jones is the third double-digit scorer and Shekinna Stricklen is grabbing three rebounds. The Connecticut Sun are shooting 30 percent from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. The Connecticut Sun are allowing 14.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 40 rebounds per game. The Connecticut Sun have won eight straight home games.

The Fever are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games, 7-21 ATS in their last 28 games following a ATS win and 6-16 ATS in their last 22 games overall. The Sun are 19-9 ATS in their last 28 games playing on 2 days rest, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 Tuesday games. The Fever are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings and the over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Connecticut. The over is 7-3 in Sun last 10 overall. The over is 3-1-1 in Fever last 5 overall.

The Indiana Fever just allowed a Liberty team that has limited scoring options to score 80 points, so I can only imagine what a Sun squad is capable of with all of the shooters they have on the court. While we're still trying to figure these teams out this early in the season, I'm not trying to lay this many points. I'm looking at the over, especially with it being such a strong trend when these teams meet and with Connecticut overall. This has the potential to be a sloppy, high scoring game based on what we saw from these two clubs in their season openers.
