In what has been a very close series so far the Mystics are going to travel in this game to face the Sun. However, the trip may not be as long as what would be expected and that can really take out any advantage the Sun may have had if they were playing a West Coast opponent. However, the last game for the Sun was a great performance that saw them control the Mystics and bring home a 12 point win in the game.
Donne has been the leader most of the season for the Mystics as she has managed to get 19.5 points a game and shot 51.5% from the field. He has also managed to clean the glass up nicely for the Mystics with a total of 8.3 rebounds a game and out of those she managed to get 1.5 of those on the offensive glass. Cloud was the player for the Mystics who fed the ball around nicely with 5.6 assist a game.
For the Sun they have relied on Jones this year for the scoring and she has only averaged out to 14.6 points a game with 44.8% shooting from the field on the year so far. Jones does clean up the glass nicely for the Sun with 9.7 boards a game and an amazing 3.3 offensive boards per game. Thomas has ended up getting 5.1 assist a game for the Sun.
The Sun are playing at home and that would normally give them an advantage. However, with Washington being just down the road the advantage for the Sun is lost in this game. Look for the Sun, though, to have a good strong game and that will help them out. Not to mention Jones is able to clean up the missed Sun shots a lot better than the Mystics can and that is the difference in this game is the second chance shots. Final Score Prediction, Connecticut Sun win and cover ATS 89-85.
