The Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings meet Tuesday in WNBA action at the College Park Center.
The Chicago Sky could use a feel good victory here after losing six of their last nine games. The Chicago Sky are averaging 81.4 points on 43.3 percent shooting and allowing 88.2 points on 46.4 percent shooting. Allie Quigley is averaging 17 points and 2.6 assists while Diamond DeShields is averaging 13.6 points and 5.1 rebounds. Cheyenne Parker is the third double-digit scorer and Courtney Vandersloot is dishing 7.4 assists. The Chicago Sky are allowing 35.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.6 rebounds per game. The Chicago Sky have lost five of their last six road games.
The Dallas Wings need a feel good victory here in order to get back to a .500 record. The Dallas Wings are averaging 83.9 points on 42.7 percent shooting and allowing 82.2 points on 42.2 percent shooting. Skylar Diggins-Smith is averaging 19.1 points and 6.5 assists while Elizabeth Cambage is averaging 19.7 points and 9.9 rebounds. The Sky are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Wings are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 1 days rest, 36-16-3 ATS in their last 55 Tuesday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Sky are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Dallas, 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
We've been fading the Chicago Sky a lot this season and it's paid off. The Sky are being outscored by 6.8 points on the season, eight points on the road and are allowing 91.4 points in their last five games. The Sky simply aren't a good team and not a good team to back. The Dallas Wings are hit or miss due to the pace they play at, but they are outscoring teams by 5.4 points at home and have been better defensively. There's better games on the card, but I'll lay the chalk as more of a fade from the Sky.
