Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Storm and New York Liberty meet Monday in WNBA action at Madison Square Garden.

The Seattle Storm look to keep the ball rolling after winning 11 of their last 13 games. The Seattle Storm are averaging 87.5 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 79.8 points on 43.3 percent shooting. Breanna Stewart is averaging 22.5 points and 8.1 rebounds while Jewell Loyd is averaging 16.4 points and 3.6 assists. Natasha Howard is the third double-digit scorer and Sue Bird is dishing 7.4 assists. The Seattle Storm are shooting 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 81.5 percent from the free throw line. The Seattle Storm are allowing 33.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.1 rebounds per game. The Seattle Storm have won six of their last seven road games.

The New York Liberty could use a victory here in order to snap a six-game losing streak. The New York Liberty are averaging 77.9 points on 42.9 percent shooting and allowing 84.4 points on 43.9 percent shooting. Tina Charles is averaging 19.6 points and 7.2 rebounds while Bria Hartley is averaging 8.5 points and 3.7 assists. Kia Nurse is grabbing 2.1 rebounds and Epiphanny Prince is dishing 1.7 assists. The New York Liberty are shooting 31.9 percent from beyond the arc and 77.1 percent from the free throw line. The New York Liberty are allowing 34.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.1 rebounds per game. The New York Liberty have lost four of their last five home games.

The Storm are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 Monday games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Liberty are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games, 1-9 ATS in their last 10 vs. Western Conference and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The under is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings in New York.

We've made a killing backing the Seattle Storm this season and even suggested weeks ago to put a future bet on them to win the title. The Storm are the best team in the league. The New York Liberty are downright awful, as they play no defense and are being outscored by 12.4 points in their last five games. However, this is an extremely early game and I don't like laying monster numbers with games this early, as you tend to see sluggish play from both sides. The Storm are also just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games when favored by at least six points. I really don't want to back the Liberty, but it's the side I'll be on if forced to make a pick here.
