The Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics meet Wednesday in game three of the WNBA Finals at the EagleBank Arena.

Breanna Stewart is averaging 22 points and 8.6 rebounds while Jewell Loyd is averaging 15.8 points and 3.8 assists. Natasha Howard is the third double-digit scorer and Sue Bird is dishing 7.1 assists. The Seattle Storm are shooting 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and 80.7 percent from the free throw line. The Seattle Storm are allowing 33.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.4 rebounds per game. The Seattle Storm have won 10 of their last 15 road games.
The Washington Mystics need a victory here to save their season and force a game four on Friday. The Washington Mystics are averaging 82 points on 44.8 percent shooting and allowing 79 points on 44.7 percent shooting. Elena Delle Donne is averaging 21 points and 7.3 rebounds while Kristi Toliver is averaging 13.8 points and 4.4 assists. Ariel Atkins is the third double-digit scorer and LaToya Sanders is grabbing 6.6 rebounds. The Washington Mystics are shooting 35.8 percent from beyond the arc and 85.8 percent from the free throw line. The Washington Mystics are allowing 33.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31.6 rebounds per game. The Washington Mystics have won seven of their last nine home games.
The Storm are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 2 days rest, 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games and 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. The Mystics are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Storm are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Washington, 1-5-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Washington.
The Seattle Storm are the clear better team here and getting points with them is very hard to pass up. I'm also worried that the Storm are winning despite not shooting the three ball very well. However, the Mystics have been very impressive at home as of late and nearly stole game two despite shooting 0-16 from downtown. So, while the Storm can play better, the Mystics can as well and should be able to here with the home crowd cheering them on. In a do or die game, Delle Donne and others should be able to do just enough to force this series at least one more game. I'll eat the bucket.
