Wests Tigers v Gold Coast Titans 6/7/20 NRL Rugby Pick, Odds, Prediction Round Four
Gold Coast Titans (0-3) v Wests Tigers (2-1)
Sunday June 7th 2020, 18:30 AEST (4:40 AM EST) Suncorp Stadium
NRL Rugby League - Line Tigers -6.5/Titans +6.5
The Gold Coast Titans head down the highway to their new home at Suncorp Stadium to host the Wests Tigers.
Titans were crushed in their last start against the North Queensland Cowboys while the Tigers accounted for the Cronulla Sharks after a shaky start to the game.
The Titans have been destroyed in all 3 contests to start their 2020 campaign with their point’s aggregate reading 18 points scored and 106 conceded. In the offseason the Titans failed to secure any marquee talent and their New South Wales recruits in Tyrone Peachey, Bryce Cartwright and Nathan Peats have not had the same impact as they did with their former clubs. Coach Justin Holbrook will likely start rookie Jamal Fogarty in the halves as he looks to use this season to rebuild and blood local young talent.
The Tigers have been impressive so far this season sitting in the top 5 for most key offensive categories. Down 16-10 at the half time break, the Tigers rallied in the second half scoring through Luke Garner, David Nofoaluma and Josh Aloiai while Benji Marshall and Moses Mbye added some extra point’s enroute to an 18-0 second half. The Tigers team are expected to field the same 17 players that got the win over the Sharks.
I had Tigers to enter this clash as 10-point favourites so I will gladly take them at -6.5. They have been one of the best offensive units in the league. While they have inefficiencies defensively this Gold Coast team cannot get out of their own way. Give me Tigers -6.5.
