Saturday Rugby League sees the Wests Tigers take on the Canberra Raiders.

Wests fell apart twice in their last game against the Titans giving away multiple double-digit leads while Canberra were incredibly complacent in their game on the weekend vs the Knights.

Tigers raced off to a 12-0 lead after 13mins but failed to close the game out. With 25 mins left the Tigers looked to have the game locked up holding a 16point lead but tries to Hipgrave, Kelly and Sami saw the Titans sneak home in a close one. Wests have been impressive this year with the ball in hand, showing they have a lot of depth in the attacking ranks however, they have struggled for much of the season defensively. In the loss, they gave their opponents 54% of possession and allowed 4 line breaks and 22 tackle breaks.

Canberra looked flat from the start in their game vs the Knights. After conceding two tries, they tried to mount a comeback but could not reel it in. Too many mistakes in the opening exchanges saw multiple scoring opportunities wasted. Having only conceded 6 points per game across their first 3 starts leaking 34 was uncharacteristic. Regardless I think this is a great spot for the Raiders to bounce back.

Canberra won both meetings last year between these two teams by a combined score of 48-12. Given the fact, the Raiders have allowed nearly half the points the Tigers have over their first 4 games (100/54) I really like the Raiders to bounce back here so I will lay the 6 points.
