NRL round 6 action sees the Wests Tigers and the North Queensland Cowboys face off at Campbelltown Stadium.

The Tigers were competitive in their last game vs the Raiders heading into the halftime break up 6-0. The Raiders were able to grind out a hard fought 14-6 victory. Tigers managed 32 tackle breaks against one of the best defences in the league but were unable to break through the line with 0 line breaks recorded. The kick return game from Wests was however very good totallng 222 metres. Poor discipline saw the Tigers let off the pressure multiple times which the Raiders were able to capitalise on. Alex Twal had 66 tackles in a solid solo performance while fullback Adam Doueihi had a strong 282 metres gained.

Cowboys had no answers to the Warriors in their last game. Despite producing 26 points of their own they allowed 704 post contact metres, 4 line breaks and 25 tackle busts which saw them on the back foot for the majority of the game. In this spot they will face a better offense in the Tigers so will no doubt be looking to make significant adjustments defensively. Jason Taumalolo had 53 tackles while Josh McGuire led the team in run metres with 177. Valentine Holmes status for this contest is unconfirmed at this point as he suffered a knee injury.

I think the best play here will be to take the total over. Both teams have shown they can trade punches with good defences offensively and after the Tigers being held down by the Raiders I think they will certainly look for a bounce back here.
