Manchester Unted Transfer News: Moyes To Go Back To Everton With New £35m Bid For Fellaini And Baines
Manchester United manager, David Moyes, will this week go back to his former club Everton with an improved offer of £35m for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.
The offer of £35m will be split between the players as separate bids although they will be made together. The bid for Fellaini will be increased to £20, still £3.5m short of his former buyout clause, and the figure for Baines will increase to £15m.

Roberto Martinez, the Everton manager and the board at Everton have spent the last two weeks making arrogant statements about the nature of the bids from Manchester United, branding them “derisory and insulting”, however behind the bravado, there is a real need to garner some funds for the news players wanted by their new manager.
Everton are also unhappy about the fact that the bids have come after the start of the season and should they accept, they will have little time before the transfer window closes on 2nd September to replace the players.
David Moyes, the new Manchester United manager has had a torrid time of it in the transfer window and has found it difficult to get the players he wants, however, he will find a these two players more responsive to his overtures, especially Fellaini who has already expressed a desire to play at a club which is in the Champions League and Manchester United fits the bill nicely.
Everton will find it difficult to turn down this offer especially as the players have made known that they open to a move to United and I expect to see some movement in this matter quite soon. The Fellaini transfer will almost certainly be done first with there probably being a bit more negotiation between the two clubs before the Baines deal goes through.
