Cardiff City vs Everton15:00
Cardiff City host Everton and will be looking to build on their amazing win last weekend against Manchester City. Frazer Campbell the hero of the afternoon last weekend will be looking to get himself on the score sheet again and Cardiff's manager Mackay will be looking to neutralise the effectiveness of Everton midfeilder Maroanne Fellanini who is being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. Roberto Martinez the new Everton coach has had a pretty rough start to his time as Everton boss as his team has failed to win a game yet and struggled last weekend to break down their opponents. WIth that said Everton played very well in the opening weekend's game at Norwich. I like the look of both of these teams to score. Cardiff look like they will at least come out and attack when playing at home and I think this Everton side is actually better suited to playing away from home where they can more comfortably play on the counter attack.
Pick: Take both teams to score
Newcastle United vs Fulham
Newcastle United put in a good defensive display last weekend against West Ham and managed a win midweek in the League Cup where the Ameobi brother netted a goal each in the last 10 minutes. Defensively Newcastle look very solid and with Collochini, Krul and Yanga Mbwai , Newcastle look as if they will not concede many goals especially at home. With Papa Cisse and the two Ameobi's up front its obvious that Newcastle have talent and can net goals but the question is can they be competitive and consistant. Alan Pardew will be looking for that type of consistancy to take the pressure off his shoulders. Fulham added Darren Bent in the off season and they may have found a jigsaw peice that could push them to compete in the top ten in the league. Dimitar Berbatov wil play, will frustrate fans but will then create a chance from nothing or score a wonder goal. For me he is a necessary luxury and I think he will continue to be productive for Fulham. Looking at both sides here I think that this is another game where we can confidently take both teams to score. In relation to picking a winner on this game, I would take Newcastle as I think they are due a bit of luck.
Pick: Both teams to score
Crystal Palace vs Sunderland
Crystal Palace are still looking for their first points of the season, they host a Sunderland team who themselves have only picked up one point. This will be a very interesting match up tactically as well as we have the outspoken and often irritating Palace boss Ian Holloway and his Italian counter part Paolo Di Canio. This game could be a cracking encounter as for the neutral alot of eyes will be on Holloway and Di Canio,I fully expect to see one team throw caution to the wind as things are going against them. For me Sunderland have not been good this year and while I think both teams will struggle to stay up in the league overall, I think that Crystal Palace may just be able to shade it tomorrow.
