Manchester United vs Southampton
An out of sorts Manchester United has lost three from the first seven games, David Moyes has had rough start to his tenure and of course it was never going to be easy taking over from Alex Ferguson but Moyes would have expected more from his players on the field. One of the plus points is the form of Wayne Rooney who has looked really good in the last couple of weeks and continued his form through international week being excellant for England. Southampton are in the lofty position of fourth with four wins, two draws and a solitary loss. All three of Southampton's away games have had a solitary goal with the Saints playing a compact defensive system. I think we see a similar performance from Southampton here. Its hard to be all that confident about United as they have been very up and down so far and needed two late goals from teenage substitute to beat Sunderland last time out. I would take the draw at half time as I think United could well struggle to break down Southampton.
Pick: Draw at halftime (1 Unit)
Stoke City vs WestBromwich Albion
Westbromwich Albion are possibly the most in form team in the league they followed their victory in Old Trafford with a home draw against table topping Arsenal but their trip to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday will bring with it alot of different challenges. Stoke are a tough team to play against especially at home and Mark hughes will want his team to impose their physical strengths on West Brom from the off. Stoke tend to play for and win alot of set pieces and use their height and strength in those situations. Hard game to pick here but I am going to take West Brom on the handicap getting a headstart with teh better team is normally a good thing even if it is an away pick.
Pick: West Brom +1( 1 Unit)
Swansea City vs Sunderland
This is my favourite play of the round up. Swansea to beat Sunderland at home. Swansea are a really good footballing team and have struggled at home and are due a result they have lost to Manchester United and Arsenal and drawn with Liverpool. I see Sunderland continuing to struggle no matter the addition of a new manager. The team just really hasnt looked capable of putting it up to anyone until their last outing where they competed with Manchester United for most of the game. I will be looking for Michu and Bony to take advantage of this soft Sunderland center of defence. Take Swansea to get a win here.
Pick: Swansea (4 Units)
