There was a moment last weekend when Stoke led 2-1 at Old Trafford and Manchester United fans were becoming restless, manager David Moyes looked under pressure and the gravity of another defeat in the league was sinking in, then bang bang. Manchester United did what Manchester United do, they scored two late goals, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Javier Hernandez combined to score two and win the game. Order restored, the champions could breath a little easier and David Moyes could start to plan for busy few weeks ahead. A league cup tie followed midweek where Manchester United destroyed Norwich 4-0 and now the fans are starting to be optimistic. It took a while but Moyes seems to have finally accepted his job will encorporate late comebacks and playing 4 or more attacking players at the one time when his team need a result.
Fulham manager Martin Jol was impressed with his sides excellent 4-1 victory at Crystal Palace but the Cottagers came back down to earth with a bang when Southampton beat them 2-0 last weekend and they then went out of the carling cup 4-3 in a dramatic game. Up front Jol is still trying to get Darren Bent and Dimiatr Berbatov to gel as a cohesive unit and only time will tell if the two can be a success together at Craven Cottage but Jol seems intent in giving the two a chance to prove they can play together. Five defeats in their first nine has put Fulham under pressure to pick up some points though and a tough upcoming schedule with United, Liverpool, Swansea and Tottenham coming up has to be a dauting task for the club.

Like the Chelsea game I jut cant ignore the price on Manchester United here, at 3/5 or 8/13 in places it appeals too much for this writer to turn his back on the current champions. But I think the overs also appeals in this game three of Fulham's five home games have gone over the mark while three of United's four away games have also gone over the 2.5 mark. For me I'm going to take Manchester United on the outright at 3/5. Follow me on twitter - http://twitter.com/antonpippo
