Well I had our first Premium pick last weekend when I picked Chelsea to get the better of Manchester City and for those who read my right up on the free section they would have also cashed an over winner as Torres got the job done for us. I've been bigging up Torres for a few weeks now and the Spanish striker has been repaying my faith with some excellent performances and hardwork. Chelsea as a whole have been very impressive of late, the Blues have now won six in a row and are really in a rich vein of form. Oscar, Hazard and Mata have been rotating in the top three flanking a reinvigorated Torres and Jose Mourhino seems to have found a formation that best utilizes the squads strength and depth.
Newcastle United have only lost once at home this term a strange 3-2 loss to Hull but the Magpies put in a very good performance with ten men for fifty odd minutes against high flying Liverpool last weekend. Alan Pardew's side are capable of scoring against anyone with Ben Arfa, Remy , Sissoko and Cabaye all impressive of late although striker Papa Cisse has struggled this season and is yet to find the net in eight Premier League games. Newcastle though did play an energy sapping 120 minutes of football on Wednesday night against Manchester City in the Capital one Cup and one has to ask whether that will affect the team as Pardew is working with quite a small squad of players.

Its a tight price for an away team but I just cant ignore the value in taking Chelsea here at 8/13. With Torres playing so well and the strength in depth throughout the squad Chelsea just look to be on a different playing level than Newcastle and with mostly the Chelsea reserves handing Arsenal a convincing defeat midweek in the Carling Cup I expect the fresher legs and better players to prevail here. I'm taking Chelsea to win outright and for those looking for a little extra I think Chelsea can win this by 2 or more. http://www.twitter.com/antonpippo
