The game of the weekend across Europe see's a repeat of last seasons Champions League final with Borussia Dortmund hosting Bayern Munich in a game which could go along way to deciding if Bayern Munich can go the season unbeaten and if Borussia Dortmund can get back into the Bundesliga Title race.
Borussia Dortmund have won seven from seven at home this year in the bundesliga but come into this game having lost there last two competitive games against Arsenal and Wolfsburg. Dortmund dominated the Arsenal game in particular but could not score a very rare occasion as Dortmund had hit the net at home in each of their previous 29 home starts. With Marco Reus and Lewandoski Borussia have two genuine superstars capable of beating any team on their day. Obviously Dortmund are in a tough position today as they face a really good Bayern Munich side but Jurgen Klopp will know his side have had the measure of Bayern Munich over the last few years and although the two sides played out a 1-1 draw on both meetings last year I think Dortmund will be looking for the outright win today.
Bayern Munich come into this game unbeaten and Pep Guardiola's side will surely look at this game as one of the real tests to an unbeaten season, I know its still early to consider this a popssibility but at the moment the way Bayern are playing and with their strength in depth I am sure alot of people are considering it already. With such a strong panel Ribery(who may be missing through injury) Robben, Muller, Mandzukich and former Dormtund midfielder Goetze there is attacking talent in abundance. There is some controversy in Germany this week as Joachim Lowe rested most of the Bayern players against England but started five of the Borussia Dortmund players.
Overall I think Borussia Dortmund will have a small bit of a complex going into this game and will think that everything is against them and that Bayern Munich seem to get alot of the official decisions in the Bundesliga. Personally I think Klopp has proven time and again to be tactically capable especially against Bayern Munich and I really fancy Dortmund to come away from this game with something.
