Liverpool are currently one of the most inform teams in the league,Brendan Rodgers team is chasing the last spot in the Champions League qualification and possibly even an outside chance of a run at the league title. But Liverpool must continue to win games as the games start to run out the pressure will be cranked up. Manchester United won on Saturday and with an eight point gap Liverpool are comfortable but a win tomorrow and making it eleven again would be a nice cushion. Luis Suarez is having a career year, twenty three goals in twenty one games a terrific return for the star man. Daniel Sturrudge is proving an able assisstant scoring sixteen in eighteen games. Together they are one of the most potent strikeforce's in the league and will look to continue that form tomorrow at home where the reds have scored thirty eight goals in thirteen games second only to Manchester City.
Swansea come into this game after a terrific performance at home against Italian heavy weights Napoli in the Europa League. There is a chance that the Swans will be tired from their midweek excursion but I'm sure Gary monk will have his side well up for this one especially seeing as Swansea will be taking on their ex manager Brendan Rodgers. Jon Jo Shelvey will be returning to Anfield for the first time since his summer move and I'm sure he will put himself about in what could be an emotional return for the scouse lad. When Swansea played Liverpool at home they came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw in a game they should have won. Bony, Routledge, Shelvey and Dyer will provide the main threat to Liverpool's backline.
This one is interesting, the Handicap gives Swansea a two goal headstart and I'm torn between thinking this is a great price and a trap. Liverpool have been sensational at home though so rather than back the handicap I'm going to take the overs here. I think this one hits and hits early, maybe even before the half.
