One of the games of the round takes place in the Nou Camp as Barcelona host Manchester City. Barcelona have one of the finest teams in Europe with one of if not the best player on the planet Lionel Messi orchestrating things from the center forward position, Messi was the key to Barcelona's victory in the first leg as he won the decisiv penalty that left Manchester City with ten men. Barcelona will always have a wealth of posession with the way they play and having Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas in midfield. For long periods though in Manchester Barcelona were in posession without looking likely to hurt Manchester City. Wednesday though will be different with Manchester City having to come out and attack as they need to score at least twice to have any chance of progress.
Manchester City have welcomed back Sergio Aguero though and Messi's teammate on the Argentina national team is one of the best strikers on the planet. If Aguero gets a sniff of a chance on Wednesday I wouldnt back against him taking it. Manchester City also have lots of midfield talent with Ya Ya Toure, David Silva, Jesus Navas and Nasri. Up front with Negredo, Dzeko, Aguero and Jovetich there is so much talent in Manchester City's squad that I think there is no doubt City can go to the Nou Camp and score, can they do enough to turn this tie around? Its hard to make a case for that but I do think we will have an open game and I like the chances of this game going over the 2.5 mark.
I'm going to take the overs here as I see Manchester City going for it from the off knowing they must score at least twice. I think Barcelona will be tough to beat in the Nou Camp but in a weekend of shocks with Wigan beating Manchester City and Real Valladollid beating Barcelona then nothing would really surprise me here.
