Gus Poyet has been quoted as saying how important John O'Shea will be if Sunderland are to survive in the Premier League so the managers decision to drop his captain for last Monday's game at Tottenham was surprising to say the least. The Black Cats were well and truly hammered on Monday night as Tottenham put five goals past them. Its hard to see how Sunderland are going to survive at the moment, the team just does not look capable of stopping the opposition from scoring and the Sunderland strikers are struggling to find the net. Altidore , Ki and Wickham will carry the scoring threat to an Everton team who have conceded only once in the last three games.
Everton have won six in a row in the league and destroyed Arsenal 3-0 last weekend all be it at home in Goodison Park. Roberto Martinez has done a terrific job all season and Everton have performed above and beyond the pre season expectations. Romalu Lukaku has been terrific up front for the Toffees and with a strong midfield including Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas and youngster Barkley its n exciting time to be an Everton fan. Champions League football is almost touchable if Everton can win their remaining games it will be a reality.
This game could be a cracking encounter. The home fans will get behind the Sunderland team as they fight for their lives and the Stadium of light will be a cauldron tomorrow. Everton after winning that huge game with Arsenal can not afford to take this game lightly and I am certain Roberto Martinez will have his team primed for this game. I like the look of the overs here, Everton's attack were fr too much for a good Arsenal defence last week and I think they will get the better of Sunderland tomorrow. I do think Sunderland will fight tooth an nail so I just like the odds on there being three or more goals here. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
