At the end of the transfer window Arsene Wenger went out and bought a striker ,Danny Wellbeck, to replace the injured Olivier Giroud. Wellbeck's pace should give Arsenal a good out let up top and the former Manchester United striker deserves a shot at playing through the center. With Mezut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla all creative midfield/attacking options Arsenal will have no shortage of creative influence on the pitch. What will be important for Arsenal is the job that Flamini does, the frenchman will sit in front of the back four and will be charged with stopping David Silva and Ya Ya toure picking the ball up in space. Its a job that Flamini does very well and he will be key if Arsenal are to compete in this game.
Its early in the season to be talkng about must not lose games but Manchester City's shock defeat to stoke has already left them three points behind Chelsea and they must keep pace with the London club who strengthened significantly in the summer. Manchester City have some terrific attacking players with Toure, Silva and the top three of Aguero, Jovetic and Dzeko. Manchester City play attractive football and are a great passing side. Vincent Kompany, captain and leader of the side will marshall the back four where City are normally so strong.
Saturday should be a terrific game played with pace and free flowing football. Arsenal always play good football easy on the eye and will have even more pace up front with Danny Wellbeck in the side. Manchester City will be keen to bounce back from defeat to stock and while the trip to the Emirates is not exactly an easy fixture the Champions will still hope to come away from London with all three points. I am going to take the overs here as I see this one having a few goals, both teams have potent offences and will both struggle defensively for different reasons. Arsenal's attacking pace should trouble city and the ability of City's trifecta of strikers should be tough for Arsenals back four to handle. Take the overs and follow me on twitter@antonpippo
