Hard to know what happens to Manchester City when they play in Europe but they are just not the same team when they play in the Champions League, Roma frustrated the Champions for long periods and to be honest were not that bothered by City's array of superstars. Ya Ya toure has had a poor start to the season and doesnt look comfortable at the moment. With Silva, Aguero, Jovetich an Dzeko though there is enough attacking power here to beat any team in the league. Question marks over City's defence though is another matter captain Vincent Kompany has had several different partners at the heart of the defence and maybe that has been one of the problems. Pelligrini will look for his side to go out and get the win here in Villa park where really if they want to retain their championship they need to win.
After a really solid start to the season Aston Villa have been exposed at the back in their last two outings conceding six goals. In the previous four Villa had only conceded one. The probems for Aston Villa though have been at the other end of the field where they have failed to score in their last two and only have four goals in six games this season. Christian Benteke may be part of the squad tomorrow after returning to full training following surgery to repair a torn achilles. Villa could really use Benteke up front to partner Agbonlahor or Weimann. There is no doubt that a fit Benteke will cause problems for any team but I dont think he will see much game time tomorrow if he does in fact be included in the squad.

I like the over here, even though Villa are not hitting the net freely I think that Manchester City will freshen things up, I expect Jovetich to start alongside Aguero and I think that Navas, Nasri and Silva will start in the midfield alongside Fernandinho. This is a quality side and while they are topclass going forward I still think that Villa might just be able to nick a goal on the break as well with Agbonlahor's pace. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
