Denmark will be hoping to get all three points when they host a Porutgal side who just sacked their manager and in addition to that have some fitness concerns over Cristiano Ronaldo. With a solid squad Denmark look to be one of the teams in the running for topping this qualifying group. Tottenhams Christian Erickson is the key man for Denmark and runs the midfield both at club and international level he will have his work cut out tonight facing Portugal's Monaco midfielder Mouthino. Erickson, Aggar and Bendtner will form the spine of the Danish team and will not be over-awed here facing a star studded Portugal side.
A disasterous start to the qualifying campaign cost Paulo Bento his job as manager of Portugal a 1-0 loss to Albania was deemed not acceptable. The fact is though Bento was missing Cristiano Ronaldo who is not only the best player for Portugal but he is their main scorer, leader and captain. Without Ronaldo Portugal just are not at the same level and Albania are actually a really solid squad and will test all the teams in this group as already shown by their 1-1 draw with Denmark on Saturday night. Portugal though do have some superstars in their ranks alongside Ronaldo with Nani, Quaeresma and Mouthino. Its a talented squad but can they deliver tonight in a tough away trip?

I feel like most of these qualifiers have been very tight to call and in the end I have hit high pay dirt on betting the draw in those games. This is another one that I feel like the draw is the most likely result but I am going to take Denmark +1 on the handicap because I have a feeling the home dog may just nick this one. Portugal are overly reliant on Ronaldo and Denmark play as a team and will be dangerous from set pieces something that Portugal have struggled with in recent months especially in the World Cup where a large percentage of the goals they conceded were from a set piece situation.
