On saturday evening we will see England take to the field against Slovenia in Wembley. It will be a match up between the top two team in Group E, with the winner almost guaranteed to top the group on Saturday night. Roy Hodgson will be looking to captain Wayne Rooney who has found the net in three of his last four England games, Rooney will be sitting in the hole behind Danny Wellbeck with the former Manchester United team mates looking to lead England to a fourth successive victory in the qualifying process. England have a solid squad with a couple of stars thrown in for good measure, Oxlade Chamberlain, Walcott and Wilshire will all have a say in how well England do in the next tournament but the trio of Arsenal stars are all trying to nail down a starting spot with Wilshire the most likely to have a start. At the back England are defensively ok with Jagielka and Cahill solid in front of Joe Hart. Baines will provide an attacking threat from fullback and England will benefit from the Everton man's terrific delivery from set pieces.
Slovenia come to England with two wins from three and their only loss was away to Estonia after losing a player to a red card. The Slovenians will be tough to beat, defensively they play a tough game and do not give up many chances. On the other end of the park Novakovic has been finding the net he has three in his last two for the national team and the J1 star will look to continue this fine form in Wembley.

On paper England have such a strong team that games like this should not pose a problem. However the reality for England and English fans is their teams do not generally score alot of goals and these games often are decided by a solitary goal. While the English media have been heavily critical of Wayne Rooney in recent months the Manchester United captain is Englands best player and it's not even close. Either way I like the unders here. Slovenia dont score many but also dont conceded alot, England are the same. In fact combined their last ten games have all gone under 2.5 goals.
