Austria have won four of the last five and beat Russia on Friday while missing their best player. David Alaba , the Bayern Munich utility player was missing through injury yet the Austrians rallied and pulled off the upset with a home win against Fabio Capello's Russia. While Austria may not be the most well known of European football's teams they have a solid core and are a hard working side. Arnautiovich and Janko will be the key men for Austria in alaba's absence, Stoke City midfielder Arnautovich brings a physical presence along with a goalscoring threat from midfield. The midfield will be key if Austria are to stay in this one with Brazil.
After a horrific World Cup the Brazilian FA regrouped and appointed Dunga as the manager and he has systematically gone about rebuilding. The intoduction of Luiz Adriano to the squad, the emergence of Neymar and the continued improvement of Oscar, Willian and David Luiz has helped but overall Brazil look a completely different team than the one that struggled in the summer. Brazil won their fifth game in a row on Wednesday last and will go to Vienna looking to put on a show. Barcelona superstar Neymar will be the key man for the Brazilians but they will also be heavily reliant on Chelsea's Oscar and Willian in midfield and Paris Saint Germain pair Thiago Silva and David Luiz at the back.

Interesting match up here. Austria will be out to test themselves against one of the World Leaders in the game and I think the Austrians may just pass this test. Austria have looked very impressive in Euro qualifying thus far and while they might come undone eventually I think they stay with Brazil for most of this game. I am going to take the Austrians +.5 on the half time handicap at evens.
