Borussia Dormund look to continue their recovery from an awful start to the seaon when they visit Paderborn on Saturday. With Paderborn in the top half this is not going to be an easy fixture for Borussia Dortmund, especially considering that BvD have lost four of their five away games this season. The return of Marco Reus a month ago did spark an improvement in performances and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to tie the young German down to a long term contract or fear losing him in the summer, probably to Chelsea or Manchester United. Shinji Kagawa has struggles since his return from Manchester United but that was partly due to the absence of Reus, he has been better in recent weeks and with Aubameyang and Immoble starting to find the net more regularly it wont be long until Borussia Dortmund rocket back up into the top half of the table.
Paderborn were promoted from the Bundesliga 2 last season and have held their own in the Bundesliga this term, ten of their fifteen points this season have come at home with only one loss to Mochengladbach. One of the problems for the team though will be scoring goals, Stoppelkamp and Kachunga have seven between them but really they will need more midfielders/attackers chipping in to stay in the top half of the league.

Quite an interesting one on paper. To be honest Borussia Dortmund should not be 2/5 against anyone in the Bundesliga at the moment such is the unpredictability of the team and their performances and their obvious struggles in the league. Paderborn themselves have had some struggles but still sit ninth in the table five points clear of Borussia Dortmund and have been a tough nut to crack at home. One stat that jumped out at me was that Paderborn have been drawing in seven of their eleven games at half time. I like the odds on that happeneing again tomorrow in the Benteler Arena. Take the draw at halftime.
