Second leg of the Copa Del Rey tie will see Valencia travel to Espanyol with a 2-1 lead from the first leg. Valencia have been excellent since the winter break beating Real Madrid at home and Espanyol in the first leg of this match up. Valencia will look to Alcacer and Negredo to lead from the front and will be hoping for more goals from Negredo who has only managed one goal in La Liga this year. The onloan Manchester City striker was prolific at the start of his Manchester City career but has struggled since going off the boil last January. Expect Valencia to be a little more defensive in this game as they look to progress to the quarter finals.
Espanyol played really well in the first leg giving Valencia plenty to think about before tonight's encounter. With a potent strikeforce in Garcia, Stuani and Caicedo there is always a chance for Espanyol. Espanyol have only lost one game in their last nine and will fancy their chances here against a Valencia team that have struggled to score goals away from home. Espanyol are a tough side to play in the Cornella De Llobgret and this should be an entertaining fixture tonight.
I think that Valencia do enough to get through tonight but just about. I am going to take the draw as I see some value in the 23/10 available. Defensively Valencia have been solid this season it is just their struggles upfront that are preventing me from taking Valencia to win the game outright. Also the fact that Valencia lead 2-1 from the first leg means a draw is enough for them to progress.
