Chelsea will take on Everton on Wednesday while still missing Fabregas through injury and Diego Costa through suspension. Everton will be looking to take advantage, of the lack of striking options for Chelsea. Roberto Martinez side played extremely well against Liverpool at the weekend and were the better team without being able to score. Former Chelsea player Lukaku will come back to Stamford Bridge and will be looking to prove a point to Jose Mourhino that he was wrong to let the talented Belgium international go. With Mirallas, Naismith and Lukaku up front Everton have some talent and they will cause Chelsea's back four some problems with John Terry in particular susceptible to the great pace of the Everton forward line.
While Mourhino is missing two of his key players Chelsea still have one of the best squads in Europe and Remy will be well capable of leading the line in place of Costa. Hazard will just slot into the Fabregas role and become chief creator as his role was before the arrival of the former Arsenal man. Hazard, Willian and Oscar have kep the Chelsea midfield ticking over and with Matic possibly the best defensive player in the league Chelsea are a very tough side to get the better of. I have to say I was very disappointed with Chelsea a couple of weeks ago against Manchester City and it almost feels like Chelsea believe they have already won the league title. This is going to be a tough game for the Champions elect and they better not understimate Everton.
While I am going to take the draw here, Everton +2 is the play. I think Everton can defend well enough to come away from Stamford Bridge with a point, this is also a value play. While Chelsea are the best team in the league 9/2 for the draw is just too big. If you can get Everton +2 on the handicap, jump all over it.
