This one could have fireworks Alan Pardew left Newcaste United to manage Crystal Palace and this is the first time he will come face to face with his former team. There is no doubt Pardew did a good job with Newcastle and is doing a great job at Palace. It will be interesting to see how the fans react to Pardew although this being a home game for Palace there will only be a few Newcastle fans at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace have won four of their last five and are one of the inform teams in the Premier league having climbed from bottom of the table to thirteenth. With Gayle, Puncheon and Zaha excelling of late Palace have discovered the firepower they just didnt have earlier in the season.

New Newcastle boss John Carver has had an up and down start to his time in charge of the magpies but was unlucky not to get a second win when they conceded in the last minute of the game against Stoke. To be fair Newcastle did not play well in the game against Stoke but they have individual players that can turn games in an instant. Cissokho and Ayoze are the key players up top for Newcastle with Papa Cisse having more of a super sub type of role at the moment. This will be a tough game for Newcastle and one that could be quite emotional for some of the players coming up against their old head coach.

I am going to take both teams to score here, I like what Palace have been doing of late and this latest run has been impressive but at the same time Newcastle are no pushovers and they will want to put in a big performance against their old boss here.
