PSG play host to Monaco in the biggest game of the quarter finals of the Coupe De France. It just so happens the two played out a scoreless draw on Sunday in Ligue 1, a game that could have been won by both teams but ended up being dominated by great defence. Monaco have one of the best defence's in Europe and they look hard to beat every time they take the field. With a very young side and lots of pace they are also an exceptional team on the counter attack. Berbatov, Martial, Mouthino and Kondogbia have been terrific this season and Monaco look like a side that are primed for a late run at the league title as well as the Champions League.
Paris Saint Germain were missing Zlatan Ibrahimovich at the weekend and the big swede really is the main man for this PSG attack. While Cavani and Lavezzi bring their own quality to PSG , Ibra brings that star quality along with top class finishing and confidence. PSG though under Blanc have been somewhat disappointing this season and they have missed numerous chances to go top of Ligue 1. They may in the end be Champions but there is no doubt that this season has been something of a struggle. This game will represent a huge challenge for PSG and it will be interesting to see how they play in the Parc Des Princes.
I am again confident that Monaco are over priced here and I am going to take the underdogs on the handicap. While last weekend the draw was the value bet given the low price on Monaco +1, tonight Monaco +1 represents the value.
