With Manchester City facing off against QPR on Sunday both teams have something on the line, Manchester City will be looking to finish in second place in the league and QPR know that they must win or they will be relegated. A Couple of years ago QPR came to the Ethiad on the last day of the season in what will long be remembered as one of the greatest finishes to a Premier League campaign of all time, on that day City came from behind to win the game in injury time with Sergio Aguero scoring the all important goal. Manchester City are totally reliant on Sergio Aguero now as their superstar squad has faltered through out this season. With rumours of discontent among the big name players Ya Ya Toure looks likely to leave in the summer and Manuel Pelligrini himself looks likely to be gone when the final game is played. Manchester City fans must hope that they hold onto the brilliant Sergio aguero as without him City could well fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
QPR have one hope left, win all three games or they are relegated. Chris Ramsey will look to captain Joey Barton along with top scorer Charlie Austin to lead QPR to victory here. With everthing now clear QPR know they must win in the Ehiad or they are gone that type of clarity can be freeing for the players. QPR simply must throw everything at City here and they must get the tree points. The key figures will be Rob green in goals , Dunne in central defence and BArton and Hoillett in midfield with Austin up top. If QPR can create enough chances for Austin he will take them but the question is can they get enough of the ball to create chances?
Tough game to call here in one way, City are a huge favourite and deservedly so. The Handicap is set at -2 which also seems about right. The line I like most here though is the overs in the Corners. Both teams like to use wingers and get down the flank and cross it. So with both playing a similar pressing game I think the overs on the corner market looks spot on.
