With both teams plaing for something here this one could be a cracker. Arsenal host Sunderland in the Emirates with the Gunners looking to secure third place and no playoff for Champions League football next season. On the other side Sunderland are fighting for their lives as they sit precariously three points ahead of Hull but with a poorer goal difference. Arsenal came away with a point at the weekend when Theo Walcott's cross was deflected past Victor Valdes in the Manchester United goal. Arsenal were abject at best, poor at worst but there were chances created. Ozil, Cazorla and Sanzhez have oodles of ability and when playing against poorer opposition they should get the space to be really effective.
Sunderland were unable to break down a resolute Leicester City defence at the weekend and in were in all honstly lucky not to lose the game . Danny Graham works hard up top but never really looks like he is going to score a goal. Defoe and Wickham do provide more of a goal threat but neither work as hard as Graham and I think Advocaat will stick with Danny. Sunderland have a good solid defence but they face a really potent Arsenal attack and may just be out gunned here.
It's hard to see anything but an Arsenal win here but the prices are so prohibitive I couldnt take them. Instead I am going to take the overs in teh corners market. At 9 the line is set low and I think we see plenty of wing lay here as Arsenal try to break down a Sunderland team that will no doubt try to park the bus. A draw is enough to make Sunderland safe and this could be a complete rearguard action for the black cats, the question will be will it be enough? Either way I see lots of corners here and am going to that market tomorrow.
