The 2015 Copa America will be a star studded event and here at Sports Chat Place we want to give you all the information on the twelve teams taking part we will have a team profile each day and will of course cover every game of the tournament and provide tips and predictions for tournament bets, group bets and individual match bets. In our sixth installment we look one of the underdogs who could cause some upsets in the Copa - Equador
Manager: Gustavo Quinteros
Captain: Walter Ayovi (Pachuca)
Star Man: Enner Valencia (West Ham)
Young player to watch: Ibarra (Vitesse)
Key Player: Jefferson Montero (Swansea City)
With star man Antonio Valencia of Manchester United out of the competition having had ankle surgery after the last game of the Premier League season Equador will be looking to other players to step up and be counted. Enner Valencia of West Ham will now take over the role as star man and he will be the leader that Quinteros looks to on the pitch. Valencia was terrific in the world cup last summer earning himself a move to the Premier League and with Swansea's Montero and Bolanes of Emelec in support Valencia will be looking to hit teams on the counter attack using Equador's speed on the wings. Antonio Valencia will be missed but Equador can cause an upset here. Equador's big game will be their last group game against Mexico which should decide who advances to the knockout stages.
With a solid if not spectacular team Equador will probably not have enough to get the better of Mexico and therefore I am taking them to exit at the group stage.
