The LA Galaxy look to keep rolling after winning three of their last four matches. The LA Galaxy are an offensive team that’s been shutout just five times in 21 matches and scored four goals in its last MLS match. Robbie Keane leads Los Angeles with six goals, Stefan Ishizaki has five assists and Alan Gordon has 27 shot attempts. Defensively, the LA Galaxy have allowed 23 goals overall and pitched seven shutouts. Brian Rowe has come away with eight saves and produced a shutout in his last MLS outing. The LA Galaxy have won three of their last four MLS home matches. Dan Gargan is questionable for this match.
San Jose won the earlier meeting between these teams last month, 3-1. However, two of the last three meetings resulted in a draw. The Galaxy have not beaten the Earthquakes since June of last season and are 1-1-3 in the last five matches overall.
San Jose has been playing well as of late and has a defense that could slow down an LA team that's missing its top player. I'll take the free goal with the Earthquakes.
