The last Internation Champions Cup game for both Manchester United and PSG will take place in Soldier Field Chicago when these two heavyweights of European football go head to head. It's been an impressive pre season for Manchester United as they have won every game and got a confidence boosting win over European Champions Barcelona. Van Gaal's side have been impressive in how they have performed despite huge numerical switches in these three games and new players like Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlein and Darmian. Van Gaal seems settled on a forward line led by Wayne Rooney with Juan Mata being the chief inspiration just behind and thus far it has looked good. Marouanne Fellaini hasnt got alot of game time yet and it will be interesting to see where he does start as last season he had great success as a faux striker. United will look to bring this strong form into the new year and this is a good test for them in their last pre season game.
PSG were excellent in both games they have played in the ICC with win over Fiorentina and a draw with Chelsea. PSG are led by Zlatan Ibrahimovich and alongside Cavani and Lavezii the French side have quality throughout. Laurent Blanc the PSG coach has spoken of his desire to bring Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria to the club and it looks likely that a deal gets done in the coming days. The former Real Madrid winger was excellent in the first ten games for United but struggled to make an impact after that and ended the season as a substitute on a team that finished strongly. PSG have plenty of attacking talent throughout this side though and with Pastore, Matuidi, Moura and Verazzi there will be lots of competition if Di Maria does make the move to the Parc Des Princes.
At the moment I would say that this one should be a cracking encounter, both sides have an abundance of attacking talent and their defending is spotty to say the least. Going to take the overs here in what should be an entertaining friendly. For those looking for a pick on a side, take Manchester United outright as they represent the better value in my opinion.
