The game of the night in the European 2016 qualifiers will see the unbeaten Slovakia travel to Spain to take on the former European and World Champions. Spain's only loss in the qualifiers thus far was a 2-1 loss to Slovakia earlier in the campaign, a win here by two or more goals will see Spain move to the top of the Group with both teams in pole position for qualification for next summers tournament. Slovakia have won an incredibel six from six and led by napoli's brilliant playmaker Hamsik and Liverpool defender Martin Skertel this is a team that believes in themselves and the scenes of jubilation after their late win against Spain was something to behold. Slovakia are a side going in the right direction and they could well be one of the dark horses for the European title next summer.
Spain have an incredibly talented side with a midfield of Silva, Mata, Iniesta and Fabregas with Busquets sitting deep there is just incredible talent here. Brazilian born striker Diego Costa has struggled a little with Spain scoring just one goal in his seven appearances. The Chelsea striker though has not really been fit during those seven appearances and now is the first time on over a year that he has no hamstring issues. Spain have a brilliant squad, Del Bosque though will probably go with Casillas in goal even though David De Gea is probably the best keeper in the world. The excuse that De Gea is not playing for Manchester United this season will be used but the reality is that Casillas was ingoals in june and march when De Gea was without a doubt the better keeper and playing brilliant stuff. Eventually this could hurt Spain.
I am taking Slovakia on the handicap here. I think Slovakia are well capable of going to Spain and getting a draw and they might even sneak this one. Spain have struggled at times to score goals winning alot of games 1-0 in the qualifiers. Slovakia have the talent up front and at the back to make this one a really tough task and I am going to take the underdogs to frustrate the home side.
