Monday night football from the Barclays Premier League will see Newcastle United travel to London to take on West Ham United at Upton Park. West Ham are coming into this game off the back of their best performance of the season a 3-0 win over Liverpool. Slaven Bilic has now beaten Arsenal and Liverpool both away from home and lost to Bournemouth and Leicester, a crazy start to the season. West Ham have a quality side but will be missing Mark Noble through suspension after he was sent off against Liverpool. Key man will be Sakho up front who leads the line and is the best player on the West Ham squad.West Ham have lost both their home games thus far and Bilic will be keen to get a win here that will move the hammers up to fifth in the table.
Newcastle United lost to Arsenal last time out in what was a good performance, the Magpies had Mitrovich sent off after sixteen minutes and they defended valiantly for the rest of the game and were very unlucky not to hold out for a point as they were beaten by an own goal from captain Coloccini. Newcastle manager Steve McLaren will be anxious to get a win and move them out of the relegation zone with just two points in four games Newcastle are struggling and the team needs a result here to get some momentum. WIth Papa Cisse, Cissokho, Wijnadlum there is talent there in Newcastle's side and they are capable of scoring goals.
Tough to call this one, while West Ham definitely on their last performance deserve to be favourites I think this is going to be a tight game. One of the interesting markets for me is both teams to score and a team to win. I like the price on West Ham to win and both teams to score. I do think Newcastle will give a good account of themselves here but West Ham just look the better team at the moment.
