Everton look to move level on points with Manchester United if they can beat the Red Devils at Goodison Park on Saturday. Everton come into this game in strong form unbeaten in their last seven games which include an impressive 3-1 win at home over champions Chelsea. Everton have had a number of impressive displays recently though not just that one win against Chelsea, a brilliant comeback win against West Brom where they trailed 2-0 and a comeback against arch rivals Liverpool show that this Everton team have character and under Roberto Martinez I think they have improved again this season. Lukaku is having a good start to the season, Aruna Kone is finally fit and contributing and Steven Naismith is doing the business for the toffees.Goodison Park will be rocking for the visit of Manchester United.
Manchester United come into this game after a tough loss to Arsenal, in a game where they were blitzed early and then dominated the game but just could not find the net. Anthony Martial will look to continue his string start to his Manchester United career and I think Wayne Rooney should have recoverd from his ankle injury to take his place in the team against his childhood club. United will have a full compliment of players although many will have been involved in International duty this is a team that will be looking to close the gap on early leaders Manchester City. Louis Van Gaal's team do need a bounce back after that loss to Arsenal and they have bounced back from defeat with wins on the two losses they have had this season. Can they make it a third bounce back win here?
The key here for United will be how they deal with Lukaku up front for Everton, personally I think this is nto a great match up for Manchester United's center halves. I am going to take the overs in this game as I see a distinct advantage up front for both teams, I think Everton will cause some serious problems for Manchester Uniteds defence but I also think Martial, Depay, Rooney and Mata will cause all sorts of problems for Everton.
