For many of the powerhouse national teams in Europe, qualification into Euro 2016 is done and they are now using this time to find the perfect team set up for the competition next year. Tuesday night sees two of these teams face as 2010 World Champions Spain travel to Belgium to take on the Belgians who are now ranked world number 1.
As squads go, you cannot get any better than the one the Belgium has. This team has quality throughout the park and they will be led by superstars such as Eden Hazzard and Keven De Bruyne. Furthermore they will have quality in defense with some of the best defenders in the Premier League in their side. This team just came of a win against Italy and will be confident that they can beat Spain and send a message to the whole of world football.

Spain on the other hand are not the team that they were 3 years back. Xavi and Iniesta are not at their peak anymore and their defense is now very shaky. This being said, they still have plenty of match winners such as Fabregas and Xabi Alonso who will want to prove a point to the critiques who have been very harsh on the Spanish national team lately.
This match is going to be hard for Spain because they are away from home and honestly, their squad is a lot weaker than that of Belgium. The biggest chance that Spain have is to play on the counter with players like Pedro making fast breaks and creating chances for the strikers. Having said that, I don’t see it happening simply because it is not how Spain play the game and if they did, the Belgian defense may still be too strong. Belgium will create many chances since they have a number of talented playmakers and I see them coasting home here. Belgium are underdogs in this game which I think is a mistake so I will be putting my money on them winning since this is exceptional value.
