Liverpool vs Bordeaux 26 Nov 2015: Europa League Preview and Predictions
26 November 2015/ 1300ET
Anfield will be entertained on Thursday night as Liverpool will host Bordeaux in the Europa League. This game should be entertaining with both team desperately needing the 3 points in order to keep the dream of qualifying to the knockout stages alive.
Liverpool are 3 points ahead of Bordeaux on the points table but are 2 points behind the group leader and a win here will keep their goal of topping the group alive. This side is full of confidence after beating Manchester City on the weekend and that should give them a boost in this match. This game is rather late in the week and with a game in the Premier League this weekend they might want to be careful with their players. That being said, the Reds play Swansea on the weekend so winning this game might be priority considering a loss will make it hard for them to qualify. Expect a strong Liverpool side and with Klopp leading the side a win should be the result.

Bordeaux will have their work cut out because going to Anfield and winning in one of the hardest tasks in world football. Liverpool have been in good form and the French side will know that. They will also know that if they don’t win the dream is all but over. That being said, Bordeaux has been in bad form lately so a win in very unlikely.
I think that Liverpool will cruise home here and the bookmakers agree with me. That being said, the bookmakers also think this will be a low scoring same which I don’t agree with. Liverpool slotted 4 against Man City and that trend will continue in my opinion. I think taking over 2.5 goals is the best bet here.
