Super Sunday action from St James Park will see the red hot Liverpool come to town to play a struggling Newcastle United. Steve McLaren's Newcastle are in real trouble they haev the joint worst defence in the league and the third worst offence. This combination has left them in the relegation zone but they are still just two points from safety and a win here could well see them bounce out of the relegation zone. While it still is early in the season to be panicking it's getting close to the time to start movign towards panick stations. Wijnaldum, Cisse, Cissokho and Perez will have to pick their team up as this is going to be a tough game.
Liverpool are flying right now and have won their last four away games by a combined fourteen goals to three. Two of those wins were impressive displays against Manchester City and Chelsea. Origi got his first Liverpool goal midweek followed by his second and third in the same game as the reds ram out rampant winners over a strong Southampton team. Jurgen Klopp has revitalised this team and Liverpool look likely to be there or there abouts challenging for the Champions League places at the very least. With injured players like Sturridge, Henderson and Couthino all returning at the moment the team is only going to get better as well.
This though is a classic banana skin match. Newcastle at home is never that easy a game and th emapgpies have some of the best if not the best fans in the Premier League, you can guarantee on Sunday the atmosphere is going to be magical and I think that the home crowd can inspire the team here. There have been some classic Liverpool v Newcastle encounters over the years with Liverpool winning two games 4-3, I think this could be another one of those games. I'm going to take the overs and push it to the limit of 3.5 goals for a nice price. I think we see plenty of goal action here.
