QPR will welcome league leaders Brighton to Loftus Road on Tuesday night for QPR's first game under new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink. The former Chelsea striker has taken over QPR with the team stuck in mid table, initially it was thought that QPR would offload Charlie Austin, Fer and a number of other high earners before the transfer window closed but with that not happening the team and owners now need QPR to go out there and win and try to get themselves promoted. With Charlie Austin up front QPR probably have the most talented striker in the Championship, there is a number of quality players throughout this squad. Hasselbaink will be looking for a reaction from his squad with players now playing for their place under a new start. It will be interesting to see how the QPR players do react here as this is a tough game.
Brighton come into this game as the only unbeaten team in the top four leagues and they will look to continue that run when they take on a QPR side that have struggled of late. With six draws in their last seven away games one has to wonder why the odds is so high on a draw here. Brighton signed young Manchester United striker James Wilson on loan and he has been a hit immediately with two goals in three games. Brighton are very hard to beat and have proven over the last two months that they are not going to succumb to a team just because of their name. In fact last weekend Brighton were pretty much robbed by a terrible penalty decision in the last few minutes.
Just looking at the stats and how both teams are set up I think that the draw is pretty nailed on here. Instead though I am going to take brighton +1 here, i feel like yes the draw may be the end result but I have a sneaky feeling that Brighton might nick this one. Therefore I am taking the insurance policy and Brighton +1 on the handicap.
